Pupils' Data Protection Rights
Schools, Local Authorities, the DCSF and other educational bodies that process personal data about pupils are required by the Data Protection Act 1998 to issue a Fair Processing Notice to parents to inform them and their child/children of the purposes for which that personal data may be held and used.
Two documents are attached:-
- Layer One – this gives a summary of the Fair Processing Notice which was issued to all Goldsworth parents on 20th October 2008.
- Layer Two – this is the full Full Processing Notice which gives information about the organisations who have access to information and the uses they make of it. Links to those organizations are given below:-
